FANULI FLEXFORM IN MILAN

In Milan this week, Flexform chose a serene convent as the backdrop for its beautiful outdoor pieces. The Convento Sant’Angelo dei frati Minori is a calm oasis with gorgeous gardens in the heart of bustling Milan. The Flexform outdoor collection is designed to be every bit as beautiful as the indoor furniture, but with enhanced durability in the fabrics and materials. Fanuli will be taking delivery of these pieces later in the year, just in time for our busy spring-summer entertaining season.

Sullivan + Strumpf gallery is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a packed program of solo shows from its brightest stars. They include artists such as Kirsten Coelho, whose new suite of porcelain pieces is nested with reflections on renewal in the wake of a journey – an idea that emerged from her fascination with Penelope’s story in The Odyssey. Running until May 3.

Chef Taro Kiso’s masterfully crafted onigiri has gone viral online, but for two nights only you can experience his craftsmanship live at Melbourne’s Ishizuka. The renowned kaiseki restaurant sees Taro and Executive Chef Katsuji Yoshino collaborate on an exquisite eight-course menu, honouring the Japanese art of onigiri in tandem with Australia’s best produce. Running April 26 and 27.
