Secreted behind an imposing iron door at the end of a brooding tunnel beneath the Sydney streets, Door Knock. combines a progressive cocktail list, delectable meal offerings and a delightful dash of speakeasy style. Reimagining an iconic space as a chic French-inspired neighbourhood bar, the venue offers a long and appealing list of wines and spirits alongside divine concoctions such as Ready To Rumble (Bacardi, passionfruit liqueur, pineapple, citrus and macadamia). These are paired with a moreish – and affordable – Mediterranean and North African-inspired share-style menu from new head chef Joe Slakey; the Chermoula chicken and a Moroccan lamb are highlights. This is not bar food as we know it! Door Knock. is open from 4pm Monday to Saturday at B2/70 Pitt Street, Sydney.
